The Cavs will be without K-Love tonight.
Kevin Love has been informed that he will not be playing in tonight's pivotal Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Love suffered a concussion during Game 2 at Oracle Arena and although he was lobbying for a chance to suit up, he will not been medically cleared.
Love finished with just five points and three rebounds in 21 minutes of action during Game 2 and if the Cavs can find a way to make it a 2-1 series tonight the narrative heading into Game 4 is going to be a disaster for Tyronn Lue.
Richard Jefferson has reportedly been penciled in as a replacement for Love. RJ, who is 35 mind you, played in 26 minutes off the bench during Cleveland's blowout loss in Game 2.
ESPN sources say Love has been lobbying hard for clearance to play Game 3 but has been told Friday's Game 4 is the soonest he'll be cleared— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) June 8, 2016
