Former NBA coach George Karl has a book coming out in January and he used the written word to bash some of his old players, specifically those he coached in Denver. Click here for some excerpts.
Carmelo Anthony, JR Smith and Kenyon Martin were all mentioned in the book, titled "Furious George," and they all took the harsh criticism in very different ways.
Melo took the high road and said he hopes Karl can find happiness. JR Smith fired off one, simple tweet.
Still trying to be relevant. Sad just sad.— JR Smith (@TheRealJRSmith) December 22, 2016
And then Kenyon Martin went on a lengthy twitter tirade in which he called Karl an "AWFUL AND COWARD ASS COACH" among other things. Kenyon was especially heated, and rightfully so, about Karl's comments that Martin had "no father to show him how to act like a man."
