Kendrick Lamar appears in a promo clip for the ABC sitcom "Black-ish."

Kendrick Lamar's "Alright" was everywhere this past year, and its message is one that the whole family can get behind. And that's just what the TV family in the ABC sitcom "Black-ish" has done, grabbing Kendrick to appear in the series' latest promo ad.

The clip stars with the children of the Johnson family planning out a viral music video that will hopefully turn them into overnight sensations. The rest of the clip is something of a music video, set to the tune of Kendrick's "Alright." Viewers are taken through a montage of the Johnson's funniest moments, and Kendrick appears as if he's part of the family.

Other figures from the hip-hop world, such as Diddy, Jermaine Dupri, and Amber Rose, have also appeared on "Black-ish." The ABC series airs on Wednesday nights at 9:30 EST.
