During halftime of last night's epic Alabama vs Georgia National Championship game, Kendrick Lamar took the stage at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia rocking his first Nike collab, the Cortez "Kenny 1."
Today, Nike has officially announced that the special edition kicks will be releasing on January 26th. According to Nike, the Cortez Kenny 1 will retail for $100, and will be available on the SNKRS app, and at select Nike retailers.
The kicks are built on a white leather upper, accompanied by red and black accents including the "DAMN." text which sits in place of the Nike swoosh. This pair is far different than the first Nike Cortez collab that Kendrick debuted last month- there's still no word on when/if that predominately red colorway will release.
