KAMAU mashes up Adele and Three 6 Mafia on "Hometown Glory".

Kamau's "Hometown Glory" begins as a fairly faithful cover of Adele's 2007 record, but by the song's final third, things get pretty unconventional. The singer's ballad climaxes with a triumphant coda, interpolating Three 6 Mafia's crossover hit, "Stay Fly," and blending it rather seamlessly with the Adele record.

The singer was born in DC, but has since made his way through the DMV and is currently based in Brooklyn. Judging by this memorable cover, he has a bright 2016 ahead of him. Let us know what you think of his merge of Adele and Three 6 in the comments below. Does he pull it off?

Quotable lyrics:
I like it in the city when the air is so thick and opaque
I love to see everybody in short skirts
Shorts and shades
I like it in the city when two worlds collide
You get the people and the government
Everybody taking different sides
