Joey Badass thinks he's better than 2Pac.

Joey Bada$$ turned heads when he put out "Land of the Free" on Inauguration Day. The Brooklyn rapper continues to get praise and blow minds. In a video interview with Genius, the "Devastated" emcee confided that he thinks he's a better rapper than the late Tupac Shakur.

"I already know I'm a better rapper than Tupac is. That's just facts," he says in the clip with a stare that seems to want to test his interlocutor. "One on one battle, I'll flame Pac."

He spoke of other issues such as Black history Month and historic figures who have inspired his musical career -- which includes 2Pac.

"I believe I am one of the minds that Pac said that [...] [he] will spark to change the world," Bada$$ said. "I’m probably not the one that is going to change the world; probably the one after me. It’s a part of me wanting to have their messages travel further, because their messages resonate with me. I know there is a lot of people out there that resonate with me, who don’t necessarily resonate with them."
