Jimmy Wopo is wasting no time getting back to the music scene. On Sunday, the Pittsburgh rapper was released from the Allegheny County Jail after spending 60 days behind bars after violating probation during a recent trip to NYC visiting some record labels, and now he’s back with a new music video for his fitting track “First Day Out.”

Directed by CatchRec Media, the video follow the 20-year-old rapper from his time walking out of the Allegheny County Jail to returning home to Pittsburgh's Hill District & celebrating with his friends & family. The record itself will see life on his upcoming project Back Against the Wall, dropping October 11.

Following its release, Jimmy Wopo told WTAE that he wrote 10 new songs while imprisoned, with "First Day Out" being the first of those to release. "It is just something that the people wanted," Jimmy Wopo told the local news outlet. "I had fan mail when I was in there. People were telling me First Day Out. First Day Out. Make sure you do the First Day Out."

While incarcerated, Jimmy Wopo also shared a single last month called “Westbrook," which served as a follow-up to last year’s break-out project Jordan Kobe. Though his subject matter includes talk of drugs and guns, he's stated that he does not condone everything in his music. "I am just expressing what can happen," said Wopo in his post-jail interview with WTAE. "Throughout the United States, harm is everywhere.”

Check out the official video (above) and look for Back Against The Wall to arrive next month.
