Jet Li is not looking his age.

Jet Li has spent over three decades delivering some of the most epic martial arts movies ever. He became a part of hip-hop culture after he starred in two movies alongside DMX, and one with AaliyahRome Must Die and Cradle 2 the Grave are classics, but the legendary martial artist has fans in shock after seeing a recent picture of him.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jet Li revealed in 2013 that he has been living with hyperthyroidism as well as a heart condition. While Li is 55 years old, the picture that was taken of him traveling to Tibet makes him look like a seventy or eighty-year-old man.

According to Li back in 2013, his doctor stated he could, “either continue making [action] films or spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.” Li has stepped away from acting since then, and instead spends his time working with his charity. The renown martial artist and actor began training in Wushu, a full-contact martial arts sport, at the age of eight. He retired from the sport eleven years later and began his acting career, starring in films such as The Forbidden Kingdom, Fearless, The One, Kiss of The Dragon, and Black Mask.
