Jay Rock is back at it after breaking some bones earlier this year.

Back in February, Jay Rock was involved in a motorcycle accident that left him hospitalized. The TDE team kept fans posted on his recovery, but we hadn't heard from Jay Rock himself until now. The L.A. rapper made his first public appearance since his injuries at the Minnesota Soundset Festival, where he also did an interview. While he didn't share too many details of the crash, he did seem very happy to have made a full recovery.

"Just doing what real dudes do... I was on my bike. Accidents happen, that's all I can say," he said of the collision. "By God's grace, he protected me the whole way."

While we knew a few bones had been broken in the process, Jay Rock shared the painful specifics of his injuries. "I had broken my leg and cracked my pelvis," he said. "It took me a couple weeks to get back out here. They can't bring a strong one down."

Later on, he shares some advice he's learned from legends like E-40, DJ Quik, and Dr. Dre -- "hustle like you're broke," and revealed that Ab-Soul had played him some crazy music in the studio recently. Watch the full interview below.
