Tech wishes both emcees luck in their future endeavors.

Years after the release of his debut album Follow Me Home, TDE's Jay Rock has officially parted ways with Tech N9ne's Strange Music label. Fans speculated that this split might happen when Rock only appeared for a brief verse on Tech's Strangeulation LP earlier this year, a project that gave sizable shine to just about every other member of the label.

In addition to Rock, Kutt Calhoun, one of the label's original signees, has decided to part ways with Strange as well.

"Kutt's always been different," explains N9ne in an interview with Mr. Wavvy. "Me and [Krizz Kaliko] are weirdos and we're proud of it... Kutty is a lot cooler, you know, a lot more hip -- a lot more stylish. He didn't really like the scrubs on stage, you know? And eventually he wanted to be off stage with us and do his own show... He wanted to be his own man and not in the shadow of Tech N9ne."

There's no hard feelings with either artists, Tech added, wishing them both success.

"For Jay Rock, Strange Music was that other family member that gave him a boost, and now [TDE] got what they need to put him where he belongs. Now he's 100% TDE, and I told him 'You better murder it, Jay Rock.'"
