Listen to some vintage Jay Electronica with "Man Down".

Jay Electronica has frustrated fans with his lack of material for years, so his supporters have had to do some digging in order to come up with new bars. Thus, "Man Up" has surfaced, with Jay acknowledging that the record was recorded years ago, during Bush's first term in office. That puts it somewhere between 2001 and 2005, but it won't stop people from getting excited about it like it's new.

The last we heard from Jay Elec was "Road To Perdition" back in March, which we hope is a sign that an album is on its way soon, though we've been let down too many times before to count on it.

Quotable Lyrics:
Your reign on the top was short like leprechauns
As I crush so-called rulers, kinds, and presidents
Revolution is here man, we cuturally wise
Elijah's pride, when I spit, it cause landslides
