Javon experiments with the SoundCoud rap formula on "Hellbound."

Whether you credit to Chief Keef, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, or someone else, punctuating your lines with "aye" and "yeah" is a trend we've seen among many rappers on SoundCloud. On Javon's new submission, "Hellbound," he's got the ad-lib and the rhythm down, and while the song sounds like your typical ethereal instrumental within the style, it gradually lives up to its #Metal tag as guitar and double kicks are introduced in the song's outro. The 20-year-old Dayton, OH native sells bothe styles well, and there's still plenty more to explore in the intersection between them. Listen to more of his music on his official SoudCloud page.
