Whats The Logo Of Your Fitted Cap
DUBB Feat. Glasses Malone
After coming through the HNHH studio to lay down a track with R&B duo Jake&Papa, DUBB goes a slightly harder route on "Whats The Logo Of Your Fitted Cap," teaming up with fellow South Central LA rapper Glasses Malone.
Get No Love
DUBB Feat. Jake & Papa
We've been hosting some artists in our studio lately, and the most recent track to come out of the HNHH lab is a collab from Dubb and brotherly R&B duo, Jake & Papa. The R&B-tinged record is a perfect summer track, built off of a breezy guitar loop, while Dubb drops some memorable quotables, and Jake & Papa deliver an infectiously catchy hook.
DUBB Feat. KXNG Crooked, Joell Ortiz & Fred The Godson
As planned, West Coast spitter, Dubb, releases his new DJ Skee and DJ Whoo Kid-hosted project Perfect Timing. Available on iTunes, the 14-track project features guest appearances from Crooked I, Joell Ortiz, Emilio Rojas, Jake&Papa, Fred The Godson, and more.
DUBB Feat. Jake&Papa
There's a lot to live up to when you name your song "Grindin," even Drake and Lil Wayne couldn't live up to the Clipse classic that solidified the title as something to aspire to. Luckily, Dubb and Jake&Papa's new record is a good addition to the "Grindin" lineage, with the duo hustling so hard that their girls have assumed their plug for a sidepiece.
Jake & Papa Feat. DUBB & Karina
Coming off the heels of their latest single “I Got It”, R&B duo Jake&Papa are back today with their newest offering called “Leave Me” featuring Dubb and Karina.
Black Cobain Feat. Skeme & DUBB
What do you get when you cross one of Virginia's finest with two Cali all-stars? If "No Luv" is to be believed, fire. VA's own Black Cobain connects with the dynamic West Coast duo of Skeme and Dubb on the JOPNDA produced track. With all the three MCs riding atop a buoyant, atmospheric beat, "No Luv" features phenomenal rapping across the board, with each dude's distinct style coming across loud and clear on every verse. We're amped to premiere this, and hope to see more equally great things from Black Cobain, Skeme and Dubb this year.
Don't Wanna See Heaven
DUBB just popped up on a remix of TeeFlii's "24 Hours" with his East Coast homie Dave East, and now he's dropped a solo track to boot. "Don't Wanna See Heaven" is his first solo joint since "Cartel" appeared on a freestyle series put together by Boi-1da last month.
24 Hours (Remix)
Dave East Feat. DUBB
Thanks in part to an large influx of remixes from more established artists, TeeFlii's DJ Mustard-produced hit "24 Hours" is quickly gaining traction as one of the bigger Mustard tracks of the year. Its latest suitors are Dave East and DUBB, two bi-coastal bros who step up to remix the track for part of East's ongoing "Eastmix" series.
Food For My Stomach
Skeme Feat. DUBB
Tomorrow, The Game (and a long list of collaborators) will release the Blood Moon: Year Of The Wolf compilation, from which we've already heard "Really," "Fuck Yo Feelings," "
Married To The Game
The Game Feat. French Montana, Sam Hook & DUBB
Just a few minutes ago, we posted a track from The Game's upcoming Blood Money compilation Year Of The Wolf, and now yet another has surfaced. On the heels of the Lil Wayne and Chris brown-assisted "Fuck Yo Feelings" comes "Married To The Game," which features Game, French Montana, Sam Hook and DUBB.
Although he hasn't had a full project drop since January's Never Content tape, DUBB has made sure to keep 2014 rife with new music of his, dropping off loosies at an alarming rate. After sharing a remix of DeJ Loaf's "Try Me" yesterday, the L.A.
Try Me (Freestyle)
It's Monday, so you know what that means. West Coast native Dubb is back with new music to jump start your week. While the rapper tends to give us original cuts, this week he opts for a remix of Detroit's DeJ Loaf's "Try Me" single. The remixes and freestyles for this break-out single are about to start flooding in. Over the weekend The LOX hopped on the instrumental, while E-40 has already given it a go.
Dubb is all about dropping new music on Monday mornings. We can't really complain about that, it's nice to know when you're getting back into the work week you'll have some Dubb music waiting for you. Last Monday we got the very jazzy "My Day," and today Dubb delivers something a bit more classic in terms of West Coast sound with "Deja Vu." The record has feel-good vibes, produced by Chinky P.
Dubb is never-ending with his music drops. He kicks off this week with another new track, the jazzy and ultra smooth "My Day" which talks about his recent success (which includes signing to Game's imprint Blood Money, and thus a spot on Game's upcoming Year of the Wolf album), and reflects on his struggle to get to where he is. Three producers helped make the beat, Cy Fyre, Trumpet Dude & B Ham. Enjoy a download of the track if you're fucking with it.
DUBB Feat. Clyde Carson
Dubb has been recruited to Game's Blood Money La Familia imprint, but it hasn't stopped him from releasing free tracks on a regular basis. Last week he hit us with the solo cut, "Come & Go", and today he's linked with fellow west coast up-and-comer Clyde Carson.
Come & Go
DUBB stays working, even on a holiday.
The last we heard from DUBB, he had made an east side connection, linking up with Bodega Bamz on "Bodega & Liquor Stores". Today, he drops off a new track that doesn't commit to any region in particular, instead taking on a more introspective, piano-lead instrumental. The beat comes courtesy of Cy Fyre & Lewi V, and has DUBB reflecting on his success, while a vocal sample provides the hook.
Bodega & Liquor Stores
DUBB Feat. Bodega BAMZ
DUBB and Bodega BAMZ may hail from opposite sides of the country, but that doesn't mean they can't collaborate and produce straight fire. The aptly-titled "Bodega & Liquor Stores" finds both MCs discussing life on the coast that isn't their home. Starting with DUBB rapping about his unfamiliarity with snow, the Hidden Faces-produced track then has BAMZ spitting bars about the best fast food L.A. has to offer (yes, of course he name-drops In-N-Out). It's an interesting, fish-out-of-water strategy for this duet, which proves very effective.
DUBB Feat. Dave East & Emilio Rojas
Since releasing his last tape, Never Content, DUBB has seen some improved circumstances, signing with Game's Blood Money imprint, and now he's released a track that seems like a fitting response to his rising stock in the rap game. "Want Everything" has him sounding hungry as ever, but it also looks back on how far he's come. Dave East and Emilio Rojas join him for the HeatMakerz-produced track.
With his Perfect Timing project due out later this year, South Central's Dubb decides to keep the momentum going strong and release a new offering titled ”Mistakes,” which is taken off DJ S Whit and DJ Base’s Give the Summer Some mixtape. This new track follows his latest release "Run To", which dropped just last week. Listen and download the new cut below. Thoughts?
