Iamsu! has been having himself a monster year in 2017. From dropping off THREE installments of the Boss Up series to releasing countless singles & videos, the Bay Area rapper has kept fans happy with plenty of new music over the past year, and thankfully he doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon either. Just within the past two weeks alone, Suzy has released a new song called “I Be,” which he then followed up with a freestyle over Tay-K’s popular hit “The Race.” Then, he released a video for his KILT 3 cut “Gucci” only a couple days ago, before returning to the scene today & sharing a new song called “Back 2 Basics.”

Over the minimalistic, piano-driven production from Iamsu, Suzy switches up his flow & shows off his slick wordplay, rapping about getting bitches, real estate & money in the process. Highlighted by the dope ass beat & Suzy’s flow & deliver, “Back 2 Basics” is another strong addition to his steady growing catalogue of hits, and one that should definitely get its spins out West.

Its unclear at the moment if this or any of the more recent releases will see life on an upcoming project or not, but hopefully they keep coming. This shit pretty fire. Hit play & let us know what you think.

If you happen to be in the Bay Area next weekend, be sure to catch Iamsu live in person at his third annual #IAmSummer concert. Peep ticket information here.

Quotable Lyrics:

I think this was the flow they was mad at yeah
I start all the trends but don't get credit yeah
Money on my brain I got to have that yeah
Money on my brain I need a medic yeah
