Glasses Malone has scored some enviable features on his recent records, working with the likes of Dom Kennedy, Brian McKnight, and most notably, Kendrick Lamar on his latest string of releases. Today, he's putting out a solo record, and given the personal nature of the song, it's only right that he's decided to opt out of a guest spot.
"Flowers" is a track for Father's Day, but it's really a song about the importance of family in general, and how we should all express how much they mean to us before they're gone, or as Malone puts it, "give them the flowers while they still can smell them".
