The concept of home is always a sailent theme in hip hop, and it is one that Genius explores in his new video "Grew Up." Genius' family emigrated to Decatur in the Eastside Atlanta from Negril, Jamaica when he was a teenager. He returns to the streets he grew up on to film the video with Felipe and Behind the Beat alum Mr. 2-17. Flair Fifth produced the track.

"I moved to Decatur after leaving Jamaica when I was 13," Genius told HNHH by email. "The Eastside holds a lot of significance for me because it taught me the street and hip hop culture of Atlanta. Moving from Jamaica was a complete transformation. The Eastside made me the person I am today."

Genius' new album A Eastside Story features K. Camp, Scotty ATL, Two-9, and more. It is available now on iTunes.
