Watch GP and KG explain the Art of Trash Talking.

Gary Payton ventured into Area 21 last night to talk hoops with Kevin Garnett and the rest of the Inside The NBA crew. One of the best segments was when KG asked The Glove about the "art of trash talking" and how they were both able to use it as a weapon during their Hall Of Fame careers.

Payton explained that he got his knack for talking trash while playing ball as a kid in the streets Oakland which nearly got him into plenty of fights, though he never stopped running his mouth. He kept on jawing all throughout college and ultimately mastered it at the NBA level as did MJ and Reggie Miller, which is something that players today just don't utilize, according to GP.

We all know KG was a masterful trash talker, just ask Melo.

Check out their convo on the art of trash talking below.
