After dropping his long-awaited sophomore album, Honest earlier in the year, Future had an uncharacteristically quiet streak. When at one point he was a constant presence -- be it through prominent features, or consistent mixtape work -- the Pluto rapper disappeared for a few months, and came back with his Monster project just in time for Halloween.
The stretch between Honest and Monster also marked some personal obstacles for Future, including his highly publicized breakup with singer, and mother of his child Ciara. In a new interview with Tim Westwood, Future Hendrix explains how he channeled his inner monster in wake of these personal issues, and created the mixtape.
