Freeway is putting on for his friend, The late Jacka. After dropping one tribute track for The Jacka with Philthy Rich and Paul Wall called “King Jack” yesterday, the Philadelphia emcee is honoring The Jacka again.
The song is off Freeway’s Freemix mixtape, and features the rapper spitting some tough bars over J. Cole’s excellent “Tale of 2 Cities” instrumental. He sounds incredible on the instrumental, which was almost too menacing for the often soft-spoken J. Cole. The video was shot at 94th and MacArthur in East Oakland, where a tribute mural to the late Bay Area emcee stands.
