DJ Khaled isn't letting his recent success get in the way of giving back.
First, let's just appreciate for a moment how much momentum the Khaled train currently has. His album Grateful has produced two of the biggest hits of the year with "I'm The One" and "Wild Thoughts," with the latter knocking Luis Fonsi's record-breaking track "Despacito" from the top spot on iTunes' sales chart. Couple that with a recent sign-on to perform at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards and it's easy to see that DJ Khaled's star won't be fading anytime soon.
However, recent reports indicate that, underneath all that success remains the heart of a very generous man. The music mogul supposedly made a stop at Selena Rosa restaurant on the Upper East side, where he danced with his son and enjoyed some tasty enchiladas and beef tacos. As per eyewitness accounts, Khaled also had not problem interacting with guests who happened to be there at the same time as him, signing sneakers and in general being very perceptive to those who wanted to approach him.
All that being said, the biggest showing of generosity from the DJ came at the end of the meal, when he left a $200 cash tip for the staff and owner before leaving. Even if you're not a fan of his music, you can't deny that Khaled is all about sending those positive vibes.
