Hot off the recent release of his new track "Outlet," Desiigner dropped by Funkmaster Flex's radio show on Hot 97 to talk about his beginnings, what it was like to meet his future boss Kanye West.
Desiigner told Flex they met at the airport in Los Angeles.
"TMZ going nuts," he said. Kanye invited him in his car and pulled out his laptop.
"'You ready?' He had his laptop [...] got something for you," the Brooklyn rapper said imitating West. he played "Father Stretch My Hands" with "Panda" already sampled in. Funk Flex then realized that the Ch-town mogul had completed the song even before any deal had been signed.
"This is Ye on a song, this is crazy" Desiigner said about hearing the track for the first time. West then told the 19-year-old he had "plans for him."
