The hazy, horn-laden production on Derick's new record, "I Do This," is instantly reminiscent of Curren$y's brand of cinematic smoke music, but it's a touch muddier here, taking a more lo-fi approach that recalls the distorted work of Main Attrakionz. Brought together with a chopped and screwed hook, the track brings enough influences together to create something new, despite wearing its inspiration in its sleeve.
