Listen to DeJ Loaf's "Die 4 It" off her "All Jokes Aside" mixtape.

DeJ Loaf just dropped her All Jokes Aside mixtape, which she announced just a few days ago, and so far, it's sounding like a continuation of the sound she;s been building since breaking through with "Try Me" back in 2014. The tape finds her reuniting with DDS on multiple tracks, but so far, one of our favorites is a collab with iRocsksays, the dreamy "Die 4 It".

From the jump, DeJ busts out with some of her strongest singing to date, expanding her range from her early work, and proving she's got chops that make her more than just a singing rapper, but a proper singer. Then again, it's not long before she brings out some aggressive bars.

Quotable Lyrics:
N-n-n-n-no, how can I sell my soul?
The devil be near, but I’m far too strong
I know my right from wrong, I know what’s going on
Them niggas they want us to fail
But we cannot, we just gotta prevail
We got it
Bad bitch karma, in a red dress
I’m really from Detroit, what the fuck you expect?
