Listen to D∆WN's Kingdom collaboration, "Honest".

We recently spoke to Dawn Richard about her upcoming album, RED•emp•tion, which she revealed would be on its way this fall, and would be an interactive work, capturing the energy and give-and-take of live performance. Mechinedrum and Noisecastle III are set to be Dawn's main collaborators on the project, but she has now shared a collab with yet another exciting electronic producer, Kingdom. It's not clear whether or not this one will actually land on the album, and it has more of a classic R&B groove to it then the high BPM of "Not Above That" and "Dance". Nevertheless, it's still punctuated with the inventive sounds and production tricks we're used to hearing from the singer, whose delicately emotive vocal performance leads the way.

Quotable Lyrics:
The sex is good, so good
That I get clouded vision
Think the love is good
That shit ain't good
That shit no good
I'd rather be honest
