Curren$y has hinted that an EP may be coming later today. The project, titled Cathedral, is said to be five or six songs, all of which are produced by Chase N Cashe. Now, what seems to be the first of the batch has arrived with the twisty, tense, "The Plug".
Chase N Cashe dials up the paranoia on this one, creating a beat that constantly looks over its own shoulder as siren-like samples weave in and out. Spitta greets the instrumental with the same casual precision he does all of his records, with memorable quips and imagery being delivered with an unmatched ease.
