When hip hop 'It' couple Jay Z and Beyonce recently showed up courtside at the Brooklyn Nets vs. Miami Heat game amidst major controversies. the buzz of the pairs appearance was carried around swiftly.

Major celebrities attending basketball games is nothing new and has come to be expected. Always known to have the best seats in the arena these celebrities are at times just as much of a spectacle as the players and the game, such as Jay and Bey mentioned above. Many of these public figures who attend numerous games and can be seen sitting courtside are hip hop artists. With the NBA Playoffs in the second to last round and basketball fever filling the air we commemorate the sport and the hip hop artists who love it with a courtside compilation of these various artists at games.
