Waka Flocka Feat. K-SO
After dropping a few cuts with Young Sizzle (aka Southside) for their upcoming joint tape, Waka Flocka is back with a new track featuring another talented member of Brick Squad Monopoly, the lesser-known K-SO. Their collab, "Day Zero's," is one for the club, and it features bumping production from DJ Baby Gold Jesus. Yup, that's his name, and on "Day Zero's," he mixes the West Coast Mustard sound with elements of Atlanta trap -- and the effect is potent. (The beat also seems to make use of the sample from Jay Z's "Show Me What You Got).
What Happened To Me
Young Scooter was locked up for the good part of 2013, since his release, he's been very prolific (not that he didn't still manage to release plenty of material from behind bars). ScooWop's Street Lottery 2 hit us at the top of this year, but the ATL rapper is already onto new material. Linking up with regional heavyweight, Metro Boomin, Scooter delivers another slice of his pensive street rap, keeping his flows in the middle ground between Future's lovelorn yelps, and Gucci Mane's marble-mouthed poetry.
Cost To Be Me
"Cost To Be Me" is the latest Auto-Tuned offering from 1017 Brick Squad Records artist PeeWee Longway, produced by Y.D.G. PeeWee will apparently be releasing a new project in the near future. Stay tuned. Quotable Lyrics "Difference between you and me, my G? / I'm from out the bricks, and you from out the suburbs / I just fuckin' dogged your bitch and you just try to love her / Love her - in the midst, she tried to fuck without a rubber."
U Mean 2 Tell Me
Plies Feat. Young Scooter
Bump U Mean 2 Tell Me (Prod. By Zaytoven), the latest cut from Plies featuring Young Scooter on the assist. It was released on Wednesday, December 11th, 2013. Things are improving for Plies with each new offering, and U Mean 2 Tell Me (Prod. By Zaytoven) is certainly no exception. It's a worthy addition to the Plies's catalogue, which has seen much evolution as of late. We're definitely anticipating the next step.
Stream Everything (Prod By Lex Luger), the newest drop from Brick Squad. The cut was released on Saturday, January 8th, 2011. Things are looking better for Brick Squad with each new release, which Everything (Prod By Lex Luger) has proven yet again. It's worthy addition to the impressive body of work Brick Squad has been developing over the years. We're looking forward to hearing what's next.
