Big Boi & Sleepy Brown will forever be enshrined if only for the one lasting record they made that still gets spins in households across America. That song would be "The Way You Move" off of Daddy Fat Sax's war chest on the Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. To this day, Big Boi's co-production on the record combined with Sleepy Brown's soothing presence on the chorus serves as the perfect middle ground for a midtempo father-daughter dance, or something of the sort.
So it's with great pleasure that I announce the re-emergence of the time-tested duo that is Sleepy Brown and Big Boi on their latest offering "Doin' 'It," of no relation to LL Cool J's sultry classic, in any way shape or form. The single comes complete with a B-side record called "Return of the Dope Boi" featuring Dungeon Fam alumni Killer Mike and Backbone. There's no word as to whether "Doin' It" of "Return of the Dope Boi" figure in the plans for his next big release.
