The EDM wave may have crested a couple years ago stateside, but it's still humming along. With Chris Brown's latest collaboration with Italian DJ Benny Benassi "Paradise," coming after their 2011 collab "Beautiful People," the genre is evidently still attracting the biggest stars from hip hop and R&B.
Best known for his timeless thumper "Satisfaction," Benassi traverses a more well-worn path on "Paradise," a full-blown EDM banger. Shimmering and tropical and massive, it will transport you to a beach party on Ibiza, if you're into that sort of thing.
According to Benassi, "Paradise" is just a "demo," implying that the pair have much more in store. There's no doubt the song has massive international potential. The question is, can you get with Breezy doing electronic music?
