Bankroll Mafia’s album release is hanging over our heads, due to release at some point today, but they’re content to tide us over with their new song “Smoke Tree” and a video for the same track. The song dropped only an hour ago.
The video’s stage is set with a girl hassling Shad Da God about seeing him eating with another woman. Shad then breaks into the hook, rapping about how the weed, drink and flexing can keep people from ruining his positive vibe. The video is shot predominantly outside and inside a liquor store, with atmospheric shots of waves, cartoons, fires and other trippy clips interspersed to suggest the tumult the rappers are keeping at bay with their high.
