A couple weeks ago, Azealia Banks released her album, Broke with Expensive Taste, and to promote the newly release project, Azealia is getting a little creative. Today, Azealia announced that she is teaming up with MTV, BitTorrent and SoundCloud to offer fans & producers the opportunity to remix her track “Chasing Time”, and win $10,000 dollars cash. No, seriously.
Here’s how it works: Fans can download the stems of the track from BiTorrent here for their remix, and then upload their finished products to Azealia's Soundcloud page here. The final submission date for the contest is December 15, and Azealia will then pick out her favorite remix and crown them the winner of $10,000 dollars cash. Dope right?

It's been a couple months since Azealia Banks launched her "Chasing Time" remix contest, and as promised, the Harlem rapper has now announced the winner. The top 5 remixes can be streamed on her website now, and their are some consolation prizes as well. The second place winner gets a day in the studio with Banks, while the third place winner gets a bunch of tickets and VIP passes to an upcoming show.
