Angela Yee said something she probably wasn't supposed to on The Breakfast Club.
As a host of the nationally syndicated morning talk show The Breakfast Club, Angela Yee is likely knowledgeable about industry rumblings months before they go public. For this reason, her suggestion that Drake and Future are plotting something on Tuesday's edition of the show is worth acknowledging.
She opened the show by recapping Meek's performance at Fools Gold Day Off in Brooklyn over the weekend, during which Meek instructed his DJ to stop playing Future songs. He later clarified that he had no beef with Mr. Hendrix. "My Dj caught a future attack on the set when he was told play a bunch of artist shit!" wrote Meek. "Lol He prolly did it because I tell play all future in the club! Don't get it fucked up we rather see the streets win b4 anything!"
Charlamagne tha God jested, "Let's see if he feels like that in another couple months."
Yee interjected, "what, when Drake and Future...?" before C tha God quickly shut her down. "Shut up Yee. Jesus Christ." She quickly changed the subject.
Drake and Future linked up for the highly entertaining "Where Ya At" video off DS2. Let's say they are indeed making moves together this fall. What do you think it could be? A VFT6 collab? A mixtape? A joint tour?
