In a story we never wish to report, sources are saying that Andre 3000’s father, Lawrence Walker, passed away Wednesday, February 12th after suffering a heart attack.
According to the Chicago Defender, Walker's home lost power due to the ice storms in Atlanta, and he was reportedly chopping wood and suffered the heart attack after he returned inside.
To make things worse, Andre's mother, Sharon Benjamin Hodo, was found dead in her Atlanta home back in May. If this story is in deed true, (and it looks to be), this will make for both parents passing away in the past 10 months.
Our hearts are deeply saddened by this terrible news. We’re sending our prayers in Andre and his family’s direction.
