James Gandolfini, the actor who played the larger than life role of Tony Soprano, passed away almost three years ago but his family is still fighting for stolen property that was apparently taken by those who were supposed to be trying to save him.

It's a scene straight out of The Sopranos.

According to reports, an Italian paramedic, Claudio Bevilacqua, is accused of taking the $3,000 Rolex Submariner right off of Gandolfini's wrist as he succumbed to a heart attack at the Boscolo Exedra Hotel in Rome, Italy. Honestly can't think of a more scumbag move than that.

The Rolex was reported as stolen by his family not long after hotel security noticed it was missing, though it's still unclear if the watch was taken from his room or right off of his wrist.

The judge has postponed the start of the trial until November.
