  • Word Is Bond
    Word Is Bond
Bump Word Is Bond (Prod. By Statik Selektah), the latest cut from Joey Bada$$. It dropped on Tuesday, May 28th, 2013. Joey Bada$$'s horizons are broadening with each new release, and Word Is Bond (Prod. By Statik Selektah) is no exception. It's a worthy addition to a catalogue that has seen much growth since Joey Bada$$ stepped foot in the rap game. We're looking forward to hearing more.
  • Bollywood Flow
    Bollywood Flow
Listen to Bollywood Flow (Prod Statik Selektah), the latest track from Drake. The cut dropped on Saturday, June 12th, 2010. Drake's future brightens with every new release, and Bollywood Flow (Prod Statik Selektah) certainly isn't an exception. • To The Max [CDQ]
    To The Max [CDQ]
Ab-Soul stopped by Shade 45 last night to make an appearance on Statik Selektah's Showoff Radio. While the spot itself featured the usual topics of conversation (These Days..., TDE, etc.), the two caught fans off guard when they debuted an unreleased track dedicated to incarcerated Diplomats emcee Max B. The track, titled "To The Max," is unfortunately only available in radio rip format for the time being albeit in much higher quality than usual.
  • No. 99
    No. 99

  • Run Up On Ya
    Run Up On Ya
Last night Shade 45 premiered one last song from Joey Bada$$'s upcoming album B4.DA.$$. The collaboration "Run Up On Ya" features fellow New Yorker Action Bronson and smooth hook from singer Elle Varner. The song is produced by Joey's frequent collaborator Statik Selektah, who cooks up a typically old school sentimental beat.
  • Alarm Clock
    Alarm Clock
Statik Selektah is getting ready to drop off his What Goes Around album on August 19th, but before he does so, the NYC producer decided to share his newest single “Alarm Clock” featuring Ab-Soul, Logic, and Jon Connor. With these three lyrical emcees at the helm, you know this track is destined for plenty of double entendres, and some serious wordplay. With that said, this definitely needs a few spins to fully digest, but trust me, that's not a bad thing. This ish smooth y'all!
  • Carry On
    Carry On
Yesterday this new Statik Selektah single hit the airwaves thanks to Elliott Wilson, who played the cut during his Sirius XM radio show. Now Complex has let it go for the internets to enjoy.
  • One Man Can Change The World (Statik Selektah Remix)
One Man Can Change The World (Statik Selektah Remix)
As Big Sean's forthcoming album Dark Sky Paradise had the cocky, brash and somewhat petty "IDFWU" as its lead single, it was jarring in the best way possible to hear him drop "One Man Can Change The World," which is pretty much the polar opposite. Now veteran producer Statik Selektah has offered up a remix of the Kanye West and John Legend-featuring cut.
  • In The Wind
    In The Wind
Tomorrow, on 7/7, Statik Selektah will release his new album Lucky 7, but first, he's giving us one more track to tide us over. "In The Wind" is a warm, uplifting cut from the album's first half, and it features Joey Bada$$ (one of his three features on the project), Big K.R.I.T. and Chauncy Sherod (who contributed vocals all over Action Bronson's recent Mr. Wonderful).
  • Bird's Eye View
    Bird's Eye View
Check out Bird's Eye View, the latest track from Statik Selektah, featuring Raekwon, Joey Bada$$ & Black Thought which dropped on Monday, April 15th, 2013. Statik Selektah's movement grows stronger with each new release, and Bird's Eye View has further strengthened that fact. It's a solid addition to the commendable body of work Statik Selektah has been creating since stepping foot in the rap game, and we're definitely looking forward to what Statik Selektah has on deck.
  • Beautiful Life
    Beautiful Life
Statik Selektah is getting ready to release a new album on July 7 called Lucky 7, and tonight he decides to release the first single from it. Calling on frequent collaborators Joey Bada$$ & Action Bronson, here goes the lead single “Beautiful Life”.
  • The Imperial (CDQ)
    The Imperial (CDQ)
As far as lyrics-first rappers go, you can't really hope for much of a better trio than Action Bronson, Royce Da 5'9" and Black Thought, all of whom guest on Statik Selektah's new track. "The Imperial" was premiered last night on Shade 45, and now we've got a (pretty audio high quality) radio rip.
  • All You Need
    All You Need

    21 & Over
Give 21 & Over a spin - it's a new offering from Statik Selektah, featuring Sean Price & Mac Miller. It was dropped on Tuesday, May 14th, 2013. Statik Selektah's rap artistry continues to improve with every release, something which is most definitely evidenced on 21 & Over. His ever-expanding catalogue is definitely better for it, and we're looking forward to the next piece of the puzzle - aren't you?
  • All I Got
    All I Got
Check out All I Got (Prod. by Statik Selektah), the latest from Styles P which features a guest appearance from Action Bronson & Ea$y Money on the assist. The track was released on Thursday, November 7th, 2013. Styles P's chances in this game are improving with each new release, and All I Got (Prod. by Statik Selektah) is no exception - quite the opposite, in fact. It's a nice addition to the impressive catalogue Styles P has been building over the years. We're definitely anticipating the next move.
  • Live From Kissena Blvd
    Live From Kissena Blvd

  • Showoff Vs. Everybody
    Showoff Vs. Everybody
"Detroit Vs. Everybody" has gradually made its way to gold status, and the song's producer, Static Selektah, is pretty excited about the certification. While the original was obviously a Michigan-centric record, Static invited a couple of New Yorkers to take on the instrumental and put on for their city in honor of the newly gold record.
  • Detroit Vs. Everybody (Remix)
    Detroit Vs. Everybody (Remix)
This is a dope look. After Eminem and Shady Records put out the "Detroit Vs. Everybody" record featuring the city's highest-profile rappers, now the label has shared an official remix that gives under-appreciated rappers the spotlight. Helmed by Trick Trick, the new remix features Dej Loaf (who gets a verse of her own this time), Guilty Simpson, Black Milk, Sino, Marv Won, Payroll, Hydro, Boldy James, Big Gov, Kid Vishis, Big Herk, Icewear Vezzo, Detroit Che, Calicoe & Diezel the Hitman.
  • Long Time
    Long Time
Action Bronson has a pretty distinct, unwavering style, but he's able to apply it to a variety of different production styles. Over something from Harry Fraud, he can sound legitimately menacing, whereas his Party Supplies collaborations bring out his more playful side.Bronson's most recent jam, which pairs him with Statik Selektah finds him placed firmly in the former category, with Statik's dissonant piano chords bringing a certain darkness to Action's style.
