Won't Be Today (OG Version)
Chris Webby Feat. Joe Budden
Back in March, Chris Webby released this Joe Budden-featured cut called “Won't Be Today”, which featured production from Prestige. Well it turns that Statik Selektah was the man behind the original version of this record, but it hasn’t been heard until today because of sampling issues. Thanks to Statik, we now can listen to this original version.
All The Way (Pimp Hop)
Statik Selektah Feat. Snoop Dogg, Wais P, Ransom & CharlieRED
Statik Selektah's album #WhatGoesAround officially drops tomorrow, so today the Massachusetts producer has decided to hit us with one last leak from the project. Snoop Dogg, Wais P, Ransom and CharlieRED join him on the jaunty "All The Way (Pimp Hop)."
Statik Selektah Feat. Action Bronson
Action Bronson has a pretty distinct, unwavering style, but he's able to apply it to a variety of different production styles. Over something from Harry Fraud, he can sound legitimately menacing, whereas his Party Supplies collaborations bring out his more playful side.Bronson's most recent jam, which pairs him with Statik Selektah finds him placed firmly in the former category, with Statik's dissonant piano chords bringing a certain darkness to Action's style.
Statik Selektah Feat. Bun B, Jared Evan & Posdnuos
Statik Selektah is getting ready to drop off his new album, What Goes Around, on August 19th, but before he does so, the NYC producer decides to let go of one last leak for the fans today titled “God Knows“ featuring Bun B, Jared Evan and Posdnuos (of De La Soul).
To The Max [CDQ]
Ab-Soul stopped by Shade 45 last night to make an appearance on Statik Selektah's Showoff Radio. While the spot itself featured the usual topics of conversation (These Days..., TDE, etc.), the two caught fans off guard when they debuted an unreleased track dedicated to incarcerated Diplomats emcee Max B. The track, titled "To The Max," is unfortunately only available in radio rip format for the time being albeit in much higher quality than usual.
Statik Selektah Feat. Ab-Soul, Logic & Jon Connor
Statik Selektah is getting ready to drop off his What Goes Around album on August 19th, but before he does so, the NYC producer decided to share his newest single “Alarm Clock” featuring Ab-Soul, Logic, and Jon Connor. With these three lyrical emcees at the helm, you know this track is destined for plenty of double entendres, and some serious wordplay. With that said, this definitely needs a few spins to fully digest, but trust me, that's not a bad thing. This ish smooth y'all!
What You Need
After making headlines a few weeks ago for his $1.5 million dollar deal with Warner, 15 year old emcee, Chris Miles, is back with his second release since being signed. After dropping off “Perfect” two week ago, the Long Island teen jumps on a Statik Selektah-produced beat and delivers “What You Need”.
In just a few weeks, veteran producer Statik Selektah will drop his new album, What Goes Around..., which boasts quite a stacked guest list. So stacked, in fact, that an Alex Wiley feature is relegated to bonus material. The Chicago MC guests on "Future Guns," which he just uploaded to SoundCloud.
The Imperial (CDQ)
Statik Selektah Feat. Action Bronson, Royce Da 5'9" & Black Thought
As far as lyrics-first rappers go, you can't really hope for much of a better trio than Action Bronson, Royce Da 5'9" and Black Thought, all of whom guest on Statik Selektah's new track. "The Imperial" was premiered last night on Shade 45, and now we've got a (pretty audio high quality) radio rip.

Josh Xantus Feat. Termanology
Last month, Hot 97 premiered the latest track from Josh Xantus with “Car Fight”, but today, ShowOff Radio has decided to let go of the official release featuring Termanology. The Statik Selektah-produced cut features the R&B singer laying down some smooth vocals, while Termanology brings the hip hop flavor with his verse. This one is specifically aimed at the ladies, but can’t be made at that. Turn the lights down, and vibe out to this with your loved one. Thoughts on the R&B collab?

This release comes only days after he released “Dear Money” with Josh Xantus. Listen and download the new track below. Thoughts?

Lecrae Feat. Pete Rock & Rapsody
In the wake of the upcoming Jamla Is the Squad compilation, hosted on the behalf of Statik Selektah, we get another drop, this time featuring Pete Rock, Lecrae, and Rapsody on a track together. We won't see the project in its full until January 28th, but this old-school sample should curb our appetite in the meantime. And just how good does Pete Rock sound? Quotable Lyrics
Demrick Feat. Mistah F.A.B.
Statik Selektah premiered it last night on his Show Off Radio Show via Shade45 and today Demrick is giving it to the world! Enjoy! Quotable Lyrics "I feel like Hendricks in a purple haze / Just a young prince from the purple rain / With Retro 7s, black, red, purple Jays / They my throwaways but don't scuff the suede / Keep a couple OZs that's just for the fade / Couple OGs that's where I got my game / On stage in your city if it's for the pay / She in my telly fuckin' with me tryna misbehave"
"My life was like the Valley Of Death, pain in my chest / Shit was lookin' ugly for me, future, no success." For those unaware, H Blanco is a young Lawrence, Massachusetts emcee signed to Termanology's ST. Records (not to be confused with professional Venezuelan baseball catcher Henry Blanco). "Blessed" is his latest offering, and finds him reflecting on his come-up over a fitting, piano-driven instrumental from Statik Selektah. Hit the iTunes link to cop the single.
