Rocko Songs

  • Lil Gurl Shit
    Lil Gurl Shit
Speaking with Fader about his new Young Thug collab, "Lil Gurl Shit," Rocko said: "I made this song for the grown chicks that do lil girl shit. Like coming to your house and leaving one of their items in a place where they know the next chick might see it, and taking Instagram pics while you sleep."
  • Muscle Up
    Muscle Up
Rocko has been making regional hits for years, and a couple have trickled through into mainstream success. The first time that happened was 2007's "Umma Do Me", but he never hit harder than "UOENO" in 2013. So it's clear the Atlanta rapper has the talent to play in the big leagues, and hopefully his new record can put him on that level.
  • Night N Day
    Night N Day
Yesterday we had Atlanta trapper Ca$h Out drop off a distinctly r'n'b record with "You Should Be Ready." It was one of a few recent releases from the "Ca$hin Out" rapper that had him dabbling in a new sound, geared towards the ladies/late night listening sessions. Now, Rocko appears to be heading in that same direction-- or else, this particular song is. "Night N Day" has a definite r'n'b vibe, with a slowed down beat, and the rapper adopting an auto-tuned melody.
  • They Don't Love You
    They Don't Love You
Bringing together the motley crew of Atlanta's LoStarr and Rocko and NY veteran Jadakiss, Chubbie Baby has assembled quite a lineup for his new track "They Don't Love You," which we have the pleasure of exclusively premiering.  A booming, slow-paced trap track, "They Don't Love You" has a hook that speaks to gold diggers, fake friends and fair weather fans, the three of which form a veritable Bermuda Triangle for rappers hoping to make it. Chubbie and Co. realize they don't need all of this fake love, and stick to their old friends and rap comrades.
  • Chill
    Chill
Over the past six months, Rocko and 808 Mafia's TM88 have collaborated on three separate occasions, so it seems only right that they're joining forces to form the duo Carte Blanche (a French expression that translates to "complete discretion or authority"). Today, they've shared "Chill," Carte Blanche's first official release, and Yakki Divioshi is also featured on the track.
  • Luv
    Luv
Rocko has been relatively quiet since he dropped off his free EP Poet in May, which served as a tribute to the late Maya Angelou. Today he's back with a new record, premiered by XclusivesZone.
  • Money Phone (Remix)
    Money Phone (Remix)
Icewear Vezzo is a rapper currently making waves in Detroit, earning co-signs from hometown heroes like Big Sean, Danny Brown, and the man behind the city's controversial "No Fly Zone" policy, Trick Trick. The remix to his street banger, "Money Phone" pairs him with another artist who has quite a reputation in his respective city, Atlanta's Rocko. In fact the song sounds closer to what's coming out of ATL than the gritty post-Dilla-isms of Detroit, which speaks to the region's ever-expanding sound. Look out for big things from Vezzo in the near future.
  • Pound Cake
    Pound Cake
Though Zaytoven has been knee-deep in Atlanta's trap scene for years at this point, he's always seemed to run against the grain of his peers, dropping zany, technicolor tracks that make his competitors' compositions seem stoic in comparison. "Pound Cake," a new joint he gifted to Shawty Lo and Rocko, is just another notch in the belt, marrying violins and UFO synths to great effect.
  • Gumbo
    Gumbo
Stak5 is known to most as former NBA player Stephen Jackson. The one-time baller is now trying his hand at a different game, giving rap a serious try, recruiting some huge names for his newest single, "Gumbo".
  • Phenomenal Woman
    Phenomenal Woman
Earlier this week, Rocko delivered his Poet mixtape. While the project had been in the works for some time, the rapper decided to drop it after he learned of Maya Angelou's passing. The tape is certainly a departure for the man who claims to have coined the term 'turnt up', dealing mainly with socially conscious topics rather than partying. On "Phenomenal Woman", Rocko teams up with TM88, a producer who has definitely proved capable of crafting a banger, but here delivers something a little more subtle and heartfelt.
  • Hustle
    Hustle
Rocko surprised fans today with a new mixtape, Poet, which is dedicated to Maya Angelou who passed away yesterday. Angelou's death, at the age of 86, had rappers tweeting all day, but Rocko decided to step things up with a selection of socially conscious records. Apparently the music has been in the works for a few months, but with Angelou's passing Rocko decided it was the right time to drop it.
  • Good
    Good
Rocko just hit us with a brand new single enlisting Lil Wayne for a verse, "Good." The track was just premiered by XclusivesZone, and is currently up for purchase on iTunes.
  • Comfrom
    Comfrom
Rocko is gearing up to drop a new mixtape hosted by DJ Drama, Real Spill, in a few days time. Before that, he's dropped off a new record to hold the fans over. For the banger "Comfrom" Rocko enlists Jadakiss and Problem for a feature. This follows up his last leak from a week back, "Sucka" featuring Too Short. The full project Real Spill is scheduled to drop on May 9th, so check back on HNHH then.
  • Sucka
    Sucka
Rocko is working on a forthcoming mixtape hosted by DJ Drama, Real Spill, and today he gives XclusivesZone the premiere of the first leak off the mixtape, "Sucka", which has assistance from Too Short. The track has a minimal bassline-driven beat with a hook that repeats just how much of a sucka you are. Real Spill is expected to impact on May 5th, so check back in on Monday for the project.
  • Sour
    Sour
Styles P has just let go of ths new single from his upcoming album, Phantom and The Ghost, which happens to be an ode to a particular strain of weed. The NY spitter enlists fellow LOX member Jadakiss, as well as Atlanta fixture Rocko for the track. Knucklehead provides the twisty banger of an instrumental, which could fit right in with anything coming out of Atlanta these days.
  • P.I.M.P.
    P.I.M.P.
Last we heard from Rocko, he had connected with Jeezy for the street single "Which 1 U Workin."  Today he's connected with another ATLien, the self-proclaimed King of the South, T.I. on "P.I.M.P." The track will surface later today on Rocko's new mixtape Lingo 4 Dummies, which is actually slated to drop later today although we have no clue what time exactly, so keep your eyes peeled.
  • Which 1 U Workin
    Which 1 U Workin
Rocko teams up with Jeezy yet again following the latter's "Benihani" for a new single "Which 1 U Workin." Jeezy borrows that "Versace" flow. Rocko's gearing up for a new mixtape in 2014, Expect The Unexpected. How's this collabo sound? Production comes from Ferrari Smash. Quotable Lyrics
  • Feets
    Feets
As Gucci Mane attempts to get back on his "feets" after a tumultuous year, he creates a track to attest to that. GuWop reunites with Rocko on this record over 808 Mafia production. His album The State Vs. Radric Davis: The Caged Bird Sings arrives on iTunes at midnight tonight.  Quotable Lyrics
  • Vietnam (Don't Let It Fall) [Instrumental]
Vietnam (Don't Let It Fall) [Instrumental]
For those unfamiliar, Childish Major is a young producer from Atlanta, Georgia responsible for Rocko's infectious "U.O.E.N.O" instrumental.  "Vietnam (Don't Let It Fall)" finds him taking a different direction sonically, favoring lush ambience and distorted female vocals over minimal synths.
  • Benihana
    Benihana
Check out Benihana, the latest from Jeezy which features a guest appearance from Rocko & 2 Chainz on the assist. The track was released on Thursday, November 14th, 2013. Jeezy's chances in this game are improving with each new release, and Benihana is no exception - quite the opposite, in fact. It's a nice addition to the impressive catalogue Jeezy has been building over the years. We're definitely anticipating the next move.
