Big Sean hit us with 4 brand new tracks today, all with different producers. "4th Quarter" finds him reuniting with frequent collaborator Key Wane for a sample-based track. Here he gets off some triplet flows, going hookless for the majority of the song. He later references the celebrity nude photos that leaked onto the internet recently, joking that they may have come from his email.
I Don't Fuck With You
Big Sean Feat. E-40
The Big Sean music continues. After announcing he signed to Roc Nation for management last night, Sean Don has rolled out four new records for the fans to consume this afternoon. Among them, he's got production from Mike WiLL Made It on "Paradise", and for "I Don't Fuck With You" he nabs production from G.O.O.D.
Yeeesshh. So when Big Sean said last night that there was new music coming, we did not realize he meant four new bangers. Lo and behold, he's updated his Soundcloud with four new bangers (well, to be precise, two are bangers, two are more mellow). Each has top notch production, with this one coming from Mike WiLL Made It.
Fat Raps (Remix)
Big Sean Feat. Chuck Inglish, Asher Roth, King Chip, Dom Kennedy & Boldy James
When Big Sean was coming up his mixtape grind was on point. He dropped three instalments in his Finally Famous series, with the third and final arriving in 2010. He later followed it up with a debut album of the same name, but that didn't really stack up to the mixtapes so we'll gloss over it.
Maroon 5 Feat. Big Sean
It’s been a minutes since we last heard some new original music from Sean Don, but that doesn’t mean he's been completely quiet on us. Yesterday, we caught a verse from the Detroit spitter on Ariana Grande’s newest offering “Best Mistake”, and today he’s back at it on another pop artist/song in Maroon 5’s popular hit “Maps”.
Ariana Grande Feat. Big Sean
Last August, Ariana Grande and Big Sean teamed up to to give us the collaboration “Right There” off Ari's debut album Yours Truly, and now twelve months later the two superstars have linked up once again for a new R&B jam titled “Best Mistake”.
DJ Mustard Feat. Boosie Badazz, Lil Wayne, Big Sean & YG
Not to be outdone by DJ Khaled's "Hold You Down," DJ Mustard returns with a mega-collaboration of his own. Featuring the all-star lineup of Lil Wayne, Lil Boosie, YG, and Big Sean, "Face Down" sports yet another bass-heavy instrumental courtesy of Mustard himself.
Common Feat. Big Sean
Common is getting ready for the release of his Chiraq-themed album Nobody's Smiling, and today we've got another leak from it. When you pre-order the album on iTunes, you’ll be able to download this Big Sean-featured cut “Diamonds” for free.
Today we're reminiscing on Big Sean's mixtape days, when he dropped quality after quality with the Finally Famous series. Following his debut effort, Sean Don delivered the second instalment UKNOWBIGSEAN, which is also his website name. The tape contained no lack of music, with 30 tracks packed into it, a mix of freestyles and originals, plus a few featured artists. Do you remember this one? All about staying fresh, that's something the G.O.O.D. rapper embodies.
Don't Play [Dirty]
Travis Scott Feat. Big Sean & The 1975
First debuted during G.O.O.D. Music’s SXSW showcase earlier this year down in Austin, Texas, Travi$ Scott later went on a radio campaign for his new single “Don’t Play” over these past few weeks. After a premature leak hit the net last week, we now have the official dirty version of Travi$ Scott's new single “Don’t Play” featuring Big Sean and The 1975.
Travis Scott Feat. Big Sean
Down at this year’s SXSW festival, Travi$ Scott & Big Sean premiered a never before heard song that we then thought was titled “1975”.
Ariana Grande Feat. Iggy Azalea
"Problem" is the first single from Ariana Grande's upcoming sophomore album, which she premiered at the Radio Disney Music Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday evening. The track features a verse from Iggy Azalea over jazzy, sax-heavy production (listen closely and you'll hear Big Sean whispering on the hook, too). How's the chemistry here, though?
Logic Feat. Big Sean
Logic has been teasing fans on Twitter about this Big Sean collaboration he had locked up, and today we finally get to hear it.
I Luh Ya Papi (Remix)
Jennifer Lopez Feat. Tyga, Big Sean, French Montana & DJ Khaled
While we had already heard remix's from Tyga and Big Sean on Jennifer Lopez’ latest single “I Luh Ya Papi”, we've been waiting for that mega remix we've been hearing about.
I Luh Ya Papi (Remix) (CDQ)
Jennifer Lopez Feat. Big Sean
There seems to be a new trend with singles getting multiple remix treatments. We heard the original "I Luh Ya Papi" as a duet between Bronx natives Jennifer Lopez and French Montana, but a short time later, we got this version with Big Sean. We now have the full quality version, but are expected to get another remix with none other than Young Money's Tyga in the next little while. Which version do you think will be the best? Look out for J-Lo's upcoming studio album, which is most likely coming this year.
I Luh Ya Papi (Remix)
Jennifer Lopez Feat. Big Sean
Shortly after hearing the French Montana-featured premiere of J. Lo's new single "I Luh Ya Papi", we get to hear "one" of her new remixes. Stopping by L.A.'s Power 106 on Wednesday, J. Lo not only premiered her new single on the radio, but she gave them the green light to drop this new Big Sean remix as well. But wait, the remix doesn't end here.
Sanctified (Full Verse)
"Sanctified" off Rick Ross' Mastermind album quickly became a fan-favorite as soon as the LP leaked. The record, which features Sean and Kanye West and has production from DJ Mustard, Mike Dean and Kanye West, contains a soulful sample and piano riff with a modern touch.
Thank You (Unreleased)
Following the release of his new visual for “Ashley”, Big Sean is back today with a new unreleased track titled “Thank You”, which Sean said he recorded over 4 years ago. The unreleased joint was found on DJ Folk’s newest project The Folk Tape: The Ascension, which is available on LiveMixtape right now. Track produced by the Olympicks.
1st Quarter (Freestyle)
After delivering what many thought was an underrated album in 2013, Big Sean is back with this new statement of a track for his first offering of 2014. The Detroit emcee decided to link up with producers Key Wane and Travi$ Scott to give us this vicious six-minute freestyle titled "1st Quarter". To go with this new mp3 release, Sean Don decided to do a 2 for-1 deal and drop off a new visual for this freestyle as well.
Justin Bieber Feat. Big Sean
The rap collaborations off Justin Bieber's forthcoming iTunes project Journals (which drops tonight at midnight) keep arriving this Sunday afternoon. After hearing the Lil Wayne collabo, we get the Diplo-produced "Memphis" which bangs slightly harder than "Backpack." Does Bieber have your approval yet? Quotable Lyrics
