Listen to FKi 1st's "GIT," featuring fresh raps from the late legend Bankroll Fresh.

Apologies for the lateness here, as FKi 1st's new 1st Time for Everything project has been out for over a week, but we thought it necessary to give a quick rundown of one of the EP's choice tracks, as "GIT" features previously unheard raps from the late Bankroll Fresh. Hopefully the remainder of Bankroll's unreleased material continues to spread his legacy throughout the world, and hopefully all that work is released by artists as talented as 1st of FKi.

"GIT" is a different sound than the fiery trap Bankroll is most known for. It's slower, with a creeping synth melody that occasionally climaxes into a dizzying mixture of heavy bass and stuttering 808s. Bankroll is able to slow his timing to adjust the beat, but his flow still packs a subtle sting. One can feel his menace even when he's at his most relaxed. As for 1st, he's a damn good rapper and singer himself. Enjoy the full spectrum of his artistry and stream 1st Time for Everything, which boasts additional features from Post Malone, Makonnen, Danny Seth, and more.

Quotable Lyrics

New Gucci got a G on it
Canary yellow stones, peed on it
Kill the mic when I breathe on it
