Floridian rapper Wifisfuneral has returned with another drop, this one titled "run?" The Nvbeel-produced cut has all the Wifi elements, down to the stylization of the title and the track's overall length. As per usual, his flow is on point, though the song itself raises a few interesting question about Weef's creative direction.
While the song itself is enjoyable enough, the brevity feels like a cop-out this time, with Wifi opting out of developing his ideas to a fuller extent. Melodically, his flow is sharp, with a few impressive musical ideas rounding this one beyond the "SoundCloud Rap" mold. Yet with Ethernet 2 on the way, it feels like Wifi needs to push himself a little further, in order to maximize the most effective use of his potential. The man can rap, as he evidenced on the low-key loosie ""JoeBuddenProbablyThinksICantRap :(," but it'd be nice to see for a little more from the Floridian talent.
Either way, Ethernet 2 should bring a new dose of fire for the fans, and hopefully serve to realign the former XXL Freshman's trajectory. What say you to this one? Is Wifi's upcoming drop on your radar?
