Parker won four titles with the Spurs.

Tony Parker was a staple of the San Antonio Spurs for years. He won four championships with the team under head coach Gregg Popovich but now plays for the Charlotte Hornets in the Eastern Conference. Last night, the Parker and the Hornets traveled to San Antonio for Parker's first game back in the city he spent so many years in. In the end, Parker and the Hornets were victorious, winning the game 108-93.

Not only did the Hornets win, but Parker was given a huge welcome by the crowd, who paid respects to a player that devoted so much of his life to their team.

"I am drained physically and emotionally," Parker said according to ESPN. "It as an awesome night, and I just want to thank the fans for the way they reacted tonight. It was unbelievable, and I appreciate it. It was a great memory for me that I will cherish for the rest of my life."

Parker also joked that the team usually doesn't play that well on the road and that he hopes they keep playing that way in the future.

"I care so much about the Spurs. It was very weird to play against them," Parker said. "I don't know if I was nervous. It was a little bit of everything. They [the Hornets] told me before the game they wanted it for me. Then after the game I was like, 'Why don't we play like that every road game? C'mon, no excuses.' I am going to be on them now."

Parker finished the game with 8 points.
