Tierra Whack continues to solidify her visionary status with every passing drop. While her short-lived, but altogether memorable series of weekly drops has come to an end, the run ultimately brought us bangers like "Wasteland" and "Unemployed." Today, the latter lands a bizarre, quirky, and Spud-heavy dose of visuals. Opening on a slow-zoom, in which Whack engages in culinary stylings that would make Samwise Gamgee proud, which is to say, Po-Tay-Toes. In a grotesque turn, some of the potatoes undergo an anthropomorphic transformation, which makes her preparation process feel closer to bloody murder.
The video proceeds to take a tonal turn into horror territory, once Whack serves up her potato dishes to a cannibalistic abomination, who eats his own kind with a twisted vegetable's glee. Throughout the clip, Whack's charisma as a performer comes alive; all things considered, this might be a viable contender for video of the year. What do you think of this one?
