Tee Grizzley follows up his excellent My Moment project with an aggressive new single "Teetroit." While it seems like Grizzley has been popping up in the studio with everyone these days, he's flying solo on this joint. "Teetroit" finds Tee Grizzley putting his hometown under the microscope, dropping knowledge on the Detroit's less-than-ideal conditions and street life. Still, there's an undeniable sense of pride there, and Grizzley recognizes he wouldn't be who he is without Detroit.

While he might have once struggled to get the city behind him, those days are long gone. Grizzley has already emerged as one to watch, and this new single is a welcome addition to his expanding catalog.

Quotable Lyrics

I grew up on Joy road, there's a lot of villains
How we gon put these choppers down, these people trying to kill us
Cause the puttin' up prisons, stadiums for the Pistons
Only thing n*ggas ain't puttin' up is the pistols
