Spaceship

Swept into a haze of garage jazz loops, World Fair's Remy Banks waxes poetic over break beats and Rhodes inspired keys. Asking the big questions like the meaning of life, Remy makes his presence felt with a concise and poignant pair of verses. While the track itself is short, the lyrical Banks is not big on wasting time. He claims to be fond of painting pictures with words, and one might infer these pictures to be abstract; the titular spaceships go unmentioned, inviting all manners of metaphorical interpretation.

This track first appeared on Remy Bank's and Nasty Nigel's 2016 project Drives To Cherry Valley.

Quotable Lyrics

I done felt hot winters, cold summers
Lookin for different ways to get the money under
See the sales freezing up, pockets lookin' like the tundra
But I'm still thinkin' "how we gon' win?"
