Los Angeles-based producer Nosaj Thing provided the beat for "Paranoia" on Chance the Rapper's Acid Rap, and Chance returned the favor by appearing alongside The O'Mys on "Cold Stares," one of the standouts from Nosaj's latest album Fated.

The "Cold Stares" video is guaranteed to be the most creative music video you will watch today. It features a young psych patient and his (her?) twin (apparation?) in her dorm room, which is disconnected from reality, a matrix of polygons in an infinite void. The beat gives off XXYYXX vibes... the central synth is like a smooth lullaby, but the drums, distorted vocals, and creeping lyrics that surround it are somewhat anxiety-inducing.

A squadron of drones appears, hovering around the young psych patient... Big Brother is watching.
