Nikko Lafre may call Miami home these days, but he's nonetheless still repping Minneapolis, where he was raised. After giving us a leak off his debut album "How It Look" the rapper returns this morning as NBA All Star Weekend takes effect. "Zach Lavine" has Lafre supporting the Minnesota Timberwolves rookie, who is also a good homie. Zach Lavine will be partaking in the NBA All Star Dunk Contest, and with a reputation of having a crazy vertical, Lafre draws a comparison between his trap and Lavine's jump: "I'm in the trap and its jumpin' like Zach Lavine."
Once again, K-Beatz and Johnny Rain are behind the production, and they did not miss. It's a short but sweet cut, that gets us all the more excited for Nikko's debut album, which will be released via 300 Entertainment (Lyor Cohen's label). The album is being delayed until March, but expect more content from Nikko next week as he'll be debuting a new music video as well as his official single.
