Fresh off the release of his official music video for "Go," a collaboration with fellow Indianapolis native and BFF Drayco McCoy, Mathaius Young is back this afternoon with a brand new record produced by Sonny Digital.
The rapper has popped up a few times since the release of his Pilot mixtape in February, once a(nother) collaboration with Drayco, "Relapse," and then again with Lil West on "City." Mathaius is currently prepping his next project and thus some of what we're hearing may not end up making the final cut, but he's keeping fans fed.
Most of the time, we're hearing Mathaius over his own production, but "Hell 2 Pay" finds Sonny Digital behind the boards for a gritty banger filled with organ keys and a low-fi quality. This isn't the first time these two have collaborated, Sonny previously gave Mathaius his co-sign by featuring him on his record "Every Day," which it should be noted Mathaius produced-- so it's possible we'll see more beat exchanges between the two in the near future.
