MGK dropped the latest track off his upcoming bloom. album, the pop-infused "Let You Go." The track is pretty light on the rapping, with MGK trading in the mic for a guitar. The vibe is more akin to a country song, especially that chord progression and vocal melody. The lyrics are on that classic nostagia-pining tip, with MGK reminiscing on a young love affair that clearly led to a bittersweet conclusion.

MGK has now dropped three singles off bloom. and the sonic direction is becoming evident. It appears the rapper is going for more of a radio-friendly vibe, which might not sit well with those who are looking for something like his DMX collabo "Demons." Still, artists have to make what inspire them, and this is the vibe he's rocking with right now.

Quotable Lyrics

I still remember what you wore on the first night
Still remember how  that black dress had your curves right
Still remember smokin' just to calm my nerves
Till you had to leave and grabbed your purse, I grabbed first
