Toronto is a lituation these days. The current crop of rap/r'n'b talent in the Canadian city is quickly taking over and, perhaps more importantly, influencing the rap game. Today we're introducing you to some (more) new talent from the Six, with singer Lemon.
Lemon is part of the prestigious Remix Project in Toronto, which has obviously benefited her musical output heavily, connecting her with like-minded individuals to help perfect her craft. She's a singer, but the talent doesn't end there, as she also handled the majority of the production on this record. Co-production comes from Tay Lewis and Giangelo Power.
The soothing production is built around a low humming sample, with Lemon detailing a form of revenge on what is most likely an ex-lover-- just be dope as fuck, and have your ex's friends talk about you. Yup.
