"You know the Big Baller don't ever be on mute!"

LaVar Ball is about the get familiar with LeBron James.

While the Ball patriarch has been quiet of late, perhaps due to the fact that there has occasionally been a large body of water separating him from North America, it would appear that the Ball signal has been lit. Now, TMZ has caught up with LaVar to pick his brain about the Lakers' big signing, and old flames seem to have once again reignited. After an initial fakeout, LaVar's trademark enthusiasm bursts forth with the power of sixteen LeBrons. "You know the Big Baller don't ever be on mute!" he proclaims, before promoting his JBL league kicking off later this month.

It doesn't take long before conversation shifts to one of the hottest NBA signings this year - LeBron to the Los Angeles Lakers. The reporter proceeds to remind LaVar that he originally called LeBron to join the team, and LaVar doesn't seem to be the least bit surprised. He goes on to predict some "championships for the Lakers," claiming that LeBron's four year window gives them room to go four in a row. Surprisingly, LaVar tempers his expectations, going on to guarantee two, with one essential caveat - all the Big Baller Boys will have to be on the team.

Though many still count the Warriors as the inevitable champions, LaVar remains unconvinced. "The Warriors can sign Boogie, Prince, Michael Jordan , anybody they want! They still ain't gonna win with this team right here. The Lakers with LeBron? You don't give my son the best player in the game and don't walk away with no championships!"

Big promises from the Big Baller.
